Payment safety principles
What is planned for payments and how to avoid fraudulent payment requests.
Payments are not publicly available
TaskNord plans a Stripe-based payment flow where payment is handled or reserved before a task becomes publicly visible. This flow has not launched.
A more protected settlement model may be considered later. TaskNord should not be described as a bank or a finished escrow service.
Avoid payment fraud
- Do not pay through a link in an unexpected message claiming to be from TaskNord.
- Always check the domain, recipient and amount in the official product flow.
- Never share a full card number, security code, password or BankID code with another user or support.
- Stop if anyone pressures you to pay outside the documented flow.
If you see an unfamiliar request
Do not complete the payment. Keep a safe record of the time, amount and reference and contact support. If an external payment service has already charged a transaction, you may also need to contact the card issuer or payment provider.
